This package contains large format 11 x 17 photocopies of official drawings for the accurized National Match version of the legendary 1911 pistol. In addition to 43 pages of 11x17 size copies of original official ordnance drawings specifically marked for the National Match Pistol, there are also eight more sheets reproducing detailed text and photographs from an official guide published by the United States Army Marksmanship Unit for accurizing 1911 pistols for maximum accuracy in competition. Information covered includes precision instructions and measurements plus illustrations of special tools and jigs used to get maximum accuracy for competition. The ordnance drawings also include official National Match part numbers for replacement accurizing parts. And if that’s not enough, there is also a reproduction of a Colt brochure related to the commercial Gold Cup National Match model of the 1911 pistol. Gunsmiths and competitive shooters will particularly appreciate the detailed accurizing instructions. PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT the same as the 1911-A1 Government Model drawings package that I also sell, although a few of the measured ordnance drawings are duplicated between the two packages.
