1947-55 UTICA FEATHERWEIGHT
Unadvertised GS in TREFOIL LOGO
This Utica Featherweight 2-Blade Girl Scout knife was NEVER SHOWN or LISTED IN A GIRL SCOUT CATALOG.  I have several so I know it is not a prototype. There are two major differences from the style that is in the GS catalogs:  the master blade has a SHORT PULL, and the shield shows a GS in the TREFOIL instead of the old eagle logo.  (I have that style for sale in my store, click on Equipment on the left of this page.)  You can clearly see,  "Utica, Featherweight, Pat. Apl." on the tang.  It measures approximately 3 3/8 inches closed without the knife bail.  The blades are tight without wobble; and both open and close with good snap.  Master appears to be 95% full and the second blade is 98% full.  There is NO POCKET WEAR on the GS Logo shield.  There are NO CRACKS in the Bovine Bone Handle.  Fabulous Girl Scout knife for display or for the collector.  I based the date on the same knife with the traditional logo.  This is OVER SEVENTY-YEARS-OLD and in amazingly good condition, but could use cleaning.  Perfect for the Collector who likes RARE items.
