Description
This listing is for an engine removed from a 1997 Harley Davidson Road King Police (Fuel Injected) that had 44K original miles. The owner was driving and noticed oil coming out of the air cleaner housing and spraying all over his right leg. He pulled over at the next station, and the bike "shut off and would not turn over" after 3 hours waiting for his son to get there with the trailer, the bike cranked and he drove it on the trailer. The bike went to the shop and the rear cylinder was removed and determined that the crankshaft was "tight". They gave the owner a quote of ,300.00 to rebuild it. He sold us the bike just as it was when it left the shop (see pictures 11 & 12). This is a perfect candidate to rebuild. The top end looks good. It is all there and the exterior finish of the motor is nice. Only flaws are the top rocker covers have some chrome flaking. This is not an install and ride motor, but is a perfect builder motor. We will only ship inside of the continental 48 states and only to a commercial delivery address. We dismantled this complete bike so let us know if there are any other items you might want us to list. Thanks and we appreciate the opportunity to do business with you.
