    Description

    REPRODUCTION of the Order of the Million elephants and White Parasol (Ordre du Million d'Elephants et Parasol blanc).  This order was instituted by Sisavang Vong, King of Luang-Preband (Laos) in 1090.  There was only one class until 1927 with it was expanded to 4 classes.
    This listing is for the 4th class or Knight.  This was awarded to both military and civilian personnel.  It was in use from 1927 - 1955 when Laos gained its independence from France.
    The medal comes with a ribbon but no mounting device.
