Microphone Preamplifier / DI with Traditional Transformers
The ISA One is a single-channel mic preamp that packs the traditional sound of the ISA 110 module from the Focusrite Forte console into a compact, portable chassis.
Equipped with DI Channel
The ISA ONE is equipped with a D.I. channel for instrument input, with independent gain adjustment and impedance switching (470kΩ or 2.4MΩ) to match the input source. An Amp output (TRS terminal) is also provided on the front panel for sending sound to a guitar amplifier in parallel, allowing you to mix the sound that passes through the D.I. with the sound of a guitar amplifier recorded with a microphone.
Optional AD Converter
With the optional AD converter, two channels of digital output can be added to the ISA One. Channel 1 outputs MAIN O/P, and channel 2 outputs DI or EXT input signal.
Switchable Impedance
The variable input transformer impedance switching feature allows you to switch between four different impedances (600 ohms, 1400 ohms, 2400 ohms, and 6800 ohms) depending on the microphone connected.
Headphone Output and Independent Volume Control
The ISA One can monitor two inputs (mic/line and D.I.) with headphones, or the Cue Mix input on the rear panel can be used to monitor a stereo signal from audio I/O, for example.
Insert Jacks
An outboard equalizer or compressor can be used between the preamp input or D.I. input and the main output or optional AD converter output.
