Description
IV-28B Small Russian Nixie Era 7-segment 8-digit VFD TubeIV-28B is a Russian 8-digit 7-segment VFD (Vacuum Flourescent) tube.
Heater: 15mA @ 2.4V
Grid voltage = 24V
Anode Voltage = 24V
Lights in GREEN colour.
It shows: digits 0...9 , decimal point to the right of each digit, the sign "-" and a dot above it. The last two are to the left of the leftmost digit.
The size of each digit is approx. 4.2 x 2.2 mm = 0.17 x 0.087 inch
The size of the tube is 55 x 18 mm = 2.16 x 0.70 inch (excluding the nipple and the pins)
This is one of the smallest size VFD tubes I have seen (I had one just a little bit smaller). Its primary use was in handheld calculators and other small/hand-held digit-displaying machines.
At present time these are often used in DIY (home made) VFD/nixie clocks.
Condition - NEW
Please have in mind that brand new tubes of this type are not manufactured anymore and they are getting more and more difficult to find.
NOTE: I may have other similar VFD tubes in my inventory. If you are interested, please have a look at my ebay store or leave me a message.

SHIPMENT
All item(s) will be shipped by registered priority airmail, unless other agreement is set with the buyer.
DHL, FedEx or UPS shipment may be arranged too. In this case I would prefer if you have a customer number in the particular courier service.
Typical delivery times for registered airmail are:
EUROPE
(All countries): 8...14 days
ALL OTHER
destinations (North and South America, Asia, Africa, etc.): 12...25 days
EXCEPTIONS:
1. ITALIAN customers, please be more patient. For unknown reasons deliveries to Italy usually take longer than to the rest of Europe, i.e. 12...16 days.
2. Good news for AUSTRALIAN customers, usually shipment to Australia is pretty fast, it takes no more than 8...12 days.
If a buyer purchases several items I will combine the shipment to reduce shipment costs. In this case please wait to receive the final invoice with the combined shipment cost
PAYMENT
In the past I used to accept a great variety of payment options but from the end of 2008 eBay does not permit any other payment options except the following two companies, which they own: Paypal and Propay.
Currently I can accept only Paypal from these two.
Whatever payment option you choose, please, don't forget to write the eBay item number(s) you are paying for.
Here are all the payment options I accept, explained in detail, in the order I prefer them:
1.
Moneybookers.
2.
Paypal.
3.
Other.
I may accept other options permitted by ebay. Please contact me if you want to pay with any other payment options.
