Large 14" Hand Carved Olive Wood Cherub Statue Candle Holder Jerusalem 1930?
Beautifully carved olive wood statue of a cherub holding a candle holder.
Made in Jerusalem.
Great color and wood grain.
This is not the mass produced design that is usually seen!
The statue is in very good condition with a chip off the bottom corner. See photos.
Bottom is possibly marked 1930 and does look and feel like an older piece.
Takes a smaller diameter taper candle at the top. Doesn't look like it has ever held a candle and there is no melted wax on the statue.
The base measures 4" long x 3" wide and it is 14" tal.
