Offered for your consideration is this Ornate Gilt Figural Religious Mantel Clock of the Madonna Virgin Mary with her son, the Christ Child, Jesus, manufactured by the Seth Thomas and Sons Company of Thomaston, CT. The Seth Thomas Sons & Co. was formed in 1865 and ceased to exist as a stand-alone company in 1879 when it was absorbed into parent Seth Thomas Clock Co. Just think of it....this clock is over 150 years Old! Beautiful original condition. This very heavy bronze ? beauty can be displayed in any room as it speaks volume all on its own. It has not been timed or tested, & we do not know when it was last serviced, hence it is being sold "as-is" and currently in not running condition. My husband said someone wound it too tight. It was purchased from the estate of a man who loved clocks & he had so many...but this one was my favorite.  Measures approximately 15 ½” high x 17 ½” wide x 5 ½” deep and weighs in at 14 lbs 1.4 oz. Comes exactly as you see it.
