UI-21M Russian Nixie Era 7-segment 10-digit VFD Tube
UI-21M (УИ-21М) is a Russian 10-digit 7-segment VFD (Vacuum Flourescent) tube, showing digits 0...9 , decimal point to the right bottom of each digit and a point to the left top of each digit.
Both the front and the back sides of this tube are made of clear glass and the wiring of all the segments inside is perfectly visible.
The size of each digit is approx. 11.5 x 5.5 mm = 0.45 x 0.22 inch
The size of the tube is 125 x 42 mm = 4.9 x 1.65 inch (excluding the pins)
This is a mid-sized VFD tube. Primary use was in calculators and cash registers.
Condition - NEW
Brand new tubes of this type are not manufactured anymore and if you manage to find a new one it will definitely cost you more than US -. Only here you may find this tube on a fraction of this price.
