Vintage and Collectible - Milwaukee Journal newspaper - August 15, 1945.  The word "VICTORY" in bold letters at the top of the cover page said it all.  This issue has so many special photos and stories of people celebrating in the streets and the joy of knowing their military loved ones were coming back home.
My mother saved this newspaper to show my father when he came back home and I have been fortunate to have gotten the newspaper from them.  It is now time to pass it on to another party wanting to have a part of history.
